Notes for John Sylvester Farabaugh
John lived in Spangler, Pa. He went to school in Chicago to become a brewmaster. He worked for a brewery in Spangler, which was torn down during the Prohibition. He moved to Detroit, Mich., where he worked as a brewmaster for Strohs Brewery, starting in 1937. The following year, the family relocated to Highland Park, Mich. John died of pnemonia in 1940.
