Notes for David Edward Farabaugh
David and Elvie settled in Northport, NY. David was a star left defensive end and offensive tight end for the Manhattan College Jaspers football team for three years, and also pitched baseball, graduating in 1940. During WWII, he served in the Army Air Corps. In the service he coached basketball and baseball at army bases in South Carolina and Texas. In 1946, he was a co-coach of the St. Francis Prep Football team in Brooklyn, NY.
