Notes for Edward Robert George Farabaugh
In 1935, Edward was living in Duquesne, Pa. But by 1940, he was one of many lodgers at the Marvin Hotel in Dearborn, Mich., and was working as a brick mason at a brass foundry. He worked for Bohn Aluminum in Dearborn. On March 31, 1942, in Detroit, Edward enlisted in the US Army and was identified as a married semi-skilled, brick mason, stone mason or tile setter. He was stationed at an Army Base in Pueblo, Colo. until October 23, 1943. He worked as a laborer and bricklayer, and in 1944 he filled out an application to work for the Colorado Fuel and Iron Corp., indicating he was single. By the time of his death, he had returned to Duquesne.
