Mary is listed twice in the 1900 census. She is recorded as a servant (or employee) at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa., and also a resident with her parents at 408 Crawford Avenue, Altoona. She and her husband Harry were evidently separated by 1900, as he is listed as an electrician with the P.R.R. living with his mother two blocks away, at 623 Crawford. Mary continued to live in Altoona, Pa., and is not listed with Harry in any subsequent Census.
