Mary was raised in Carroll Township, Cambria Co., Pa. She took her second, (or perpetual) vows as a Benedictine nun in 1887, and lived at St. Mary's Convent in Pittsburgh, Pa. By 1928, she was living in Jeannette, Pa. She later settled and passed away at the St. Scholastica Convent on Main Street, Carrolltown. Sr. M. Rose died of arteriosclerosis at the age of 77.
