Donald was an Army veteran of WWII and the Korean War. He was a crane operator at Bethlehem Steel for 37 1/2 years, retiring in 1992. Donald moved to Delaware in 1993 and in his last 9 years worked for the Delaware Solid Waste Authority in Ellendale.
