Daniel and Carol settled in Johnstown, Pa. Dan was an accomplished athlete at Bishop McCort High School and played football at Lafayette College. He served as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army in Korea and later worked for BethEmergy Mines, He then became an inspector with the Pa. Dept. of Environmental Protection.
