Notes for Hilda Lucy Farabaugh
The last surviving member of her family and the oldest Farabaugh to have ever lived, Hilda was raised on the pioneer homestead in Allegheny Township, Cambria Co., Pa. In her youth she was office manager for Bender Electric Co. in Carrolltown, secretary to the assistant chief of the Dept. of Public Assistance in Harrisburg, and secretary at the Naval Supply Depot in Mechanicburg, Pa. After raising her children, Hilda worked as a tax examiner for the IRS in Covington, Ky. She became a Master Gardener and in later life developed a talent for writing poetry.

Cy was a Captain in the Army engineering corps during WWII. He and Hilda lived in Lawrenceburg, Ind. Cyrus worked for the Seagram's Company.
