Notes for Floyd Joseph Farabaugh
Floyd and Milllie lived in Erie, Pa., and settled in Lawrenceville, Ga. While in Erie in 1957, a tragic event occurred at their home in which Rita Weber, age 10, died of burns when her clothing caught fire from an open heater.

Floyd was a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Army, and served in Germany. He worked in the trucking industry for most of his career, and retired as an executive from Freightliner/Mercedes-Benz. Floyd was well known as a “Mr. Fix-It,” who was skilled at repairing most anything with a his vast set of tools.

The family’s prize possession is a 1970 Plymouth Superbird. Bought new and kept for decades, it was eventually restored to its former glory, which cause some family controversy since it’s no longer used for family functions but is instead reserved and shown for car shows.
