Sid served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He worked for Franklin Life Ins. Co., and lived with Mim in Lafayette, La., where he opened his agency in 1950. Sid won many sales awards, including Salesman of the Year in 1965, and received a Legends Award in his 50th year with the company in 2000.
